What Does “Fast Count” On My Scale or Balance Mean?

Counting scales are often used for inventory control. They are therefore often used by staff who have not been trained in the scale’s operation.

Fast Count is a solution to operator training devised by Intelligent Weighing Technology to be the quickest way to get warehouse staff up and running with counting on our parts counting scales.

The system is so simple that much less time needs to be spent in training staff, which is a critical point at inventory time.

When the counting scale containing “Fast Count” is unpacked, the operator can simply turn on the scale, pick up a sample of the articles to be counted, apply them to the scale and enter the quantity, followed by Number Set. The scale is now counting. Fast count will allow “Check Counting”, the unit will “Beep”  when the required quantity is reached, or it can also be set to “Beep” at the required weight.

Fast Count is unrivalled in industry for speed and ease of use. Our balances that offer this feature are the OAC, SHC, and PSC series.
